Entry 9: Mid-day Craving...

totally unplanned...
this is not a natural followed up to the last entry by design...
although i have to marvel at the coincidence...

went for lunch today with a friend that came over for a visit from Japan...
a friend's friend actually...
but he brought us around at Kyoto...
and lunch is the least i can do...
or...
all i can do...

and an amazing thing happened...
initially we settled for some roadside food near the Concorde Hotel so that our friend can get a taste of the local dishes...
and as we sat down i was very sure that i wanted to eat Hokkien mee...
unfortunately...
the stalls were still preparing so the person directed us to the food court nearly...

as weird as it is...
the Hokkien mee stall at the food court less than 50 metres away is actually the same stall as the one at the road side...
or so the person say...

after i ordered and was waiting for the my mee to be cooked...
i suddenly became very sure that i wanted to eat chicken rice...

way to go man...
maybe i am just fickle-minded...
but don't u think how amazing it is that u can feel such an intense craving for different things in such a short time...

kind of like life actually...

in any case...
continuing from last night...
my craving was not satisfied once again...

way to go...

here is a random picture of the day...

just outside the Singapore Tourism Board building at Somerset...
there are 3 guys sitting on a bench playing apparently PSP in the socks that they wear over their heads...
given their matching T-shirts...
i assume they are running some promotional campaign...

how cool is that?...

getting paid to play PSP with a sock over ur head...
and...
a promotional campaign which nobody knows what u are promoting...

way to go man...

note:
they were indeed promoting something as i later found out...
the words on their T-shirts refers to this new series that is about to air on AXN...
titled "Better Off Ted"...

for more information on the series...
watch AXN...
or just simply Google it...

as for why do they have to play PSP with socks over their heads...
i really hope that that is related to the series...

way to go man...
