Entry 20: Podcast...

 
now although quite a number of my friends have recommended me different podcasts in the past...
i have never really catch on the idea...

but with new stuff opens new opportunities...

for some reason...
i have decided that it is such a chore going to my computer each day just to catch my Daily Fix...
i have decided to give podcasting a try...

plus with new extended memories on my phone...
why not ya?...

so i went through the internet to see how to make this possible...

well to all those of u who uses iTunes store...
u would realised that once u log in to iTunes with a Singapore account...
u cannot access to many of the store options available in other countries...

and for a long long time i thought that app icon for iTunes on my phone is a useless one...

and if u have tried hard enough...
or if u have as much time as i do...
u would also realised that it is impossible to try to set up an US iTunes account to try to fool the system...
during the setting up...
they check ur credit card numbers or Paypal account to verify that they are US accounts as well...

so how to get it to work?...

i chanced upon this almost by accident...
after fidgeting with the various options to no avail...
and as a last ditch effort to try...
iTunes asked me whether i would like to switch country since it is not available in mine...
and i did...
and u know what?...
it works~!...

so here is the trick...
if u are trying to get podcasts for ur iphones...
simply log out of ur iTunes account before pressing the iTunes apps...
and u are ready to subscribe to the podcasts of ur choice...
but u cannot buy any items from the US iTunes store since u must log in to ur account to do so...

ok maybe u already know all these...

either way...
i was having quite a lot of fun searching for the different types of podcasts out there...

it is like a new world has opened up upon me...
woohoo~!...

disappointingly...
most podcasts are not frequently updated...

at least i can get my Daily Fix on mobile now...
plus...
i manage to see what Attack of the Show is about...

good stuff~!...
