urging u to do things that someone in the right mind would not even contemplate doing...
but not in the going insane kind of way...
an urge to do something weird with ur mind thinking rationally...
it is as if the thought...
the temptation is nothing strange at all...
have u ever wonder how it feel like to be hit by moving traffic...
or to fall off the top of a building...
lately i have the urge to try these things...
not because i want to end my life...
but it just felt like an exploration...
i have no intention of hurting myself by doing all these...
but i want to experience how they feel like...
yet come out of it unscratched...
something like CPL Trombley in Generation Kills...
when he explained...
"i was not scared at all... instead... i kind of want to know how it feels like to be shot..."
do we all have moments like these?...
or am i simply an odd person?...
when ur curiosity instigate that u exploded an uncharted territories...
or am i hoping to test the limit of my invincibility...
have u ever felt hungry to the point of starving...
yet at the same time feel so disgustingly fat that u don't feel like eating?...
like ur bodily need is engaging in a battle with ur mental want...
do u succumb to hunger...
or do u live up to ur discipline...
have u ever felt that something taste so disgustingly bad...
yet u still want to stuff mouthful after mouthful of it into ur mouth?...
does it really taste that bad...
or the badness is something that u crave...
something that u would miss once it is over...
don't we all have a little badness in us...
discovered this new product at Carrefour Suntec City...
or not that new according to my friend...
but it is the first time i have seen it...
Magic Jelly...
basically something in the form of jelly...
a slightly softer, more dilute version of Play-Doh, which u can use to help stick out dirt and dust from normally hard to reach places...
i couldn't resist the temptation to try it out so i bought a bottle of it...
each pack comes with 150g of the jelly...
and it cost $9.90...
from the promotional video itself...
it is apparent that this thing is quite useful...
for cleaning things like keyboard and all...
stuff with a lot of fine grooves or things u cannot use water to wipe...
however, the big question is whether it is worth the almost $10 in price...
how much can 150g last...
once home i gave my pack a try...
basically there are no major restrictions on how many times u would like to use it...
u can use it as much as u can take the dirtiness of the jelly...
plus the jelly is said to slowly evaporate away...
which i doubt would be too quickly...
i used my jelly to clean my keyboard...
monitor...
desk lamp...
and a few other items...
given that my things are not too dusty to begin with...
with the exception being my keyboard...
the jelly still looks pretty ok...
i reckoned that one pack can probably last me at least 2 months...
depending how often i clean...
so in my opinion $10 is kind of worth it...
2 things to note though...
the jelly gives of a slight slimmy feel on surfaces after use...
according to instructions...
this is normal for first time usage...
the second thing is...
it is dangerous with paper...
it sticks very hard when it comes into contact with paper...
and when u try to yank it off...
the jelly would break into smaller pieces...
making it very difficult to completely free ur paper of jelly...
otherwise...
this would be a good cleaning companion...
before i end off...
2 interesting quotes from Generation Kills the book...
one officer when facing accusation that he over-reacts in situations said that...
it maybe insane to react to every possible threat...
but it is also insane to remain calm when u know that u are in a place where u life in in danger...
and from the author himself when talking about how restless Marines can be and their eagerness to move to the next mission even though they disagree with many decisions...
America can benefit from the lack of tolerance of boredom from today's youth...
ain't we all restless...
so i must be considered part of today's youth?
no?...
hahaha...
